Hello, my name is Soe Moe Win, but you can call me Win. I am from Myanmar which is called the Golden Land because of having many gold- glittering pagodas throughout the country from the upper to the lower part. I am living in the lower part of the Myanmar, which is Hlgu township, North District, Yangon. Yangon is the former capital of Myanmar as well as it is also a business city of the country.
I am working in Central Agriculture Research and Training Centre, Zayatkwin, Indaing, Hlegu Township. I am a deputy staff officer. I started to work in the Department of Agriculture in 2004.
I have graduated with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from Yezin Agricultural University (YAU), which is only one agricultural university in Myanmar. Therefore I am proud of being a graduate of YAU.
In 2005, I went to Israel in order to attend the on job training course which is called Diploma in Agricultural Business Studies (Dip ABS). Its duration is only 10 months. I have completed the diploma successfully.
In 2009, I had a chance to go to Japan in order to be trained in Digital Video Production Technology for Dissemination and Enlightment course from May to August. I learned the video production technology in the Okinawa International Center (OIC), Okinawa.
I have married with a beautiful wife, who is Aye Thida Lin. She has graduated with a Bachelor of Art Science, History. I have two sons. The eldest son is Min Thant Aung, who is 7 years old and now attending the Second Grade. The youngest son is Min That Naung, who is now only one year and 5 months. I have a happy family with my wife and sons.
Now I am learning a Master Degree in Agriculture and Rural Development in Hankyong National University, Anseong Korea, with the KOICA scholarship. I believe that I will successfully complete this course. The knowledge and skill I will achieve from this course will improve my life first and then through me, my country will be improved by upgrading the farmers and local people. I am very happy to have this chance in my life. In the future, I will try to have a Ph.D degree.
